As per Royal Enfield website, the Bullet Standard UCE has "Micarb VM 24" carburator, whereas Electra UCE has "BS29 / UCAL".
Can someone throw some light on the difference between these two carburetors?
Reason for asking this question is - I am about to finalize between Bullet Standard UCE and Bullet Electra UCE. I have liked the looks of Standard more than that of Electra.
I also know that Electra has Electric start and Gas filled Shock absorbers. Frankly, I do not care much about the gas filled shock absorbers and the electric start; I am ok with Standard for that.
Is this BS29 / UCAL carburetor way better than Micard VM 24?
One more thing - the dealer here says that the carburetors on both Electra and Standard are same (however RE website says differently).
PS: My location: Pune, Maharashtra
Best regards,
Anand

I appreciate it!!!
