  • [Wierd Question] FZ16 Rear Rim On Karizma

Before you post your quick reply of "no" let me be more specific. I want a rear rim and tire like a fz on a Karizma-R. (i am posting this for a friend) and the fz rim size is 17 inch while the karizma rim is 18 inch. Do they make 18 inch wide rim's and tires or is this impossible? And if i do find a rim and tire, what other mods do i have to do like the swing arm etc for it to work out? and how much would it cost around? 10k + ?
    PHP Code:

    --Honda Shine  [08-10  SOLD]--
                           ---
    HH Karizma-R Black [10-Current]---

Speed is a joy but roads are not race track. Keep speed in your limit and always Drive safe...

Yes you can get aftermarket wider rims. Look into auto markets.

You will only screw up the handling and the dynamics of the bike.
Chrome rims and bling ? get a real life !

              AFAIK

You wont be able to simply plonk in 18" wider rims with wider tires without changing swing arm as the tire will rub the swing arm and also the mud guard.

You need not change front wheel to 17". You can retain stock (But alloy will look different) or if you want wider then yes 17" is necessary. Only if you change front wheel you will have to bother for meter change and stuff.

You will need FZ swing arm, FZ rim, FZ brake drum, Tire. Some weldings on swing arm to hold shocks (as FZ has mono).

May be there will be few more requirements like wheel bearing, brake rod etc
