If its a H4 HID u can flash once the bulb is warm, as the solenoid makes the focus to the HB effect. In case of a dual beam setup with a HID on HB, then flashing is possible if the bulb is already warm, but the cost of your bulb's life span. Consecutive on/off will surely affect the life of a HID bulb. There are many links to the cooling off period for a HID tube.
Pavan, yours is an H4 HID, so consequtive flashing wont affect any harm as the bulb power is not resetted each flashing. So u can happily irritate the 4X100 truckies with your flashgun. Try to plonk the same into a round sealed beam and feel the difference, u'll get more controlled beam pattern with a deadly HB effect. Stock reflector is crap for a HID, its really wasting lot of light by scattering every where.

For time being I will run with single tube HID
