    • hello guys
I've replaced my high beam ballast to the low beam one, and high beam still didn't work, it was just like before, i.e in entering stabilization it just flickers and turns off.

to cross check, i checked the low beam with the high beam ballast, it was working fine..

i did swap it back, and still only high beam had issues...

after doing it 4-5 times, it was confirmed that both the ballasts light up the projector very well, but h7 is a culprit for both of them, hence i gave navnish a call and he would send me a h7 bulb asap...

i hope that was the only issue...

besides I've also leveled my beam and closed the holes of the projector finally, no more light inside the unit, its there but very little, i did so using tape, i did it because dust was settling down inside the projector due to those holes, i hope those tape joints don't come off, and i didn't miss using silver foil like before, the difference is that the tape is different now it was scrotch previously and is steelgrip now , and its done in a more sophisticated manner so it should hold on it seems...

more updates when new bulb comes in...

      • nano,as we already talked, you need to need your electricals changed.
use a new electrical wiring harness of a bixenon kit,you can call navnish,he sells these.
just connect the bixenon kit wire to low and hi beam and connect the ballast and hid in low beam, this will result as any beam your low beam hid will be on.
now you just connect hi beam through a spst relay.

you can use high capacity diodes also but i say to stay away as these needs proper soldering and loose connection can be there and where you hav a better option of using a company made bixenon kit wiring.

Dude, any incandescent lamp will work on both. So u can surely use it on AC. DC applies to HID & LEDs for the time being.

next... have to sort out the DC conversion and re-coiling bit.

and then... add on the HID kits.

can't seem to find 4300K anywhere in bombay.

6000K is OK too... but not as good in the rain.

                          not worried bout that bit...
and in projectors... cops won't really be a bother.

better visibility with 4300Ks... any weather... hence the decision.

i dont think that should be a issue...frankly speaking on a quick glance it wouldn't be possible to tell if its a 6k or 4.5k.So 6k specifically isnt cop-prone.Cops just look for bright lights(HID)

3.5k would be the best! truly all-weather!
6k and above isnt suitable for the super combo of Potholes and rain!
