  • Karizma general problem

Just 2 days back my ZMA fell down when it was idle on the right side. It got scratch on the right cowl. There may be some affect on the handle & the T also, so what steps I need to take to check its proper balancing & for the scratch on the corner on right cowl. Please help me out on this as my ZMA color is cherry red whose spares are not available easily these days that color is discontinued.

Some things I need to know as my ZMA is 5 yrs old now, so tyres are needed to be changed. So what specification of tyres I opt for other than stock without removing the chain cover. Also, whicd HID lamps I should go in for for geeting a good view in night.

One thing more, there is slight bent in front alloy wheelm so here in Delhi I could get it alligned & balanced.
    Please do help me out

Check whether the bike wobbles or drags to any of the sides while driving.

As for the tyres u can look into Michelin M45-- front=3.25x18 M45 and Rear= 4.00x18 (110/90x18). it costs 1900. very good one. i'm presently using the same. it doesnt require any modification. a direct fit.

as for the HID u can put a Motomart HID kit 6000k... comes with a ballast. (correct me if i'm wrong)

Thanks for the rply bro.. bike does not drag to any of the sides but the handle starts wobbling little bit around speeds 40-60 kmph. And for the tyres I read in one of the forums here that M45 are not good on wet surface than stock tyres. Is that so? as you'll be knowing as you are using the same.

For the HID kit, does it fit in exactly & has a proper beam of light and does it take a lot of power from the battery?

As for the wobbling thing. just check your cone set. might hav worn out.

As for the wet grip of Michelins is good. Stock tyres is the worst i have ever seen and last recommended to put.

For the HID kit my friend has installed it on his STunner. No prob till now. Its almost 6months old.

            Thamks for the info bro..
About the wobbling, you said to check the cone is that the 'T' you are talking about?

About the tyres, i heard from my friend about the IRC tyres. Can they be fit into ZMA without any change to chain cover?

And I was thinking about some mods to the stock steering. I read one of the posts here that ZMR clip-ons can be fit into ZMA with some alterations. Do anyone know that could be done anywhere in delhi??

If you are going to fit say 100/90x18 or 110/90x18 then there wont be a need to remove the chain cover. u can go with the IRC or michelins. Both are very good.

One doubt though wont the clip-ons touch the side panels wen the handle is turned? i think the clip-on's are lil lower than the stock handlebars.

Regarding the paint, you can use the touch up paint by this company called COMPAINT. You get bike specific original shades, I have used this on my 05 Candy Red KARIZMA. You can order it online too.
