  • HELP: My Fiero F2 Problems!

    HI all,

My fiero f2 engine always has an oil flow all over it! When given to some local mechanic for servicing he added a white paste for the oil not flowing out, but after say about 15 days again the oil is all over the engine. What should i do to rectify it?

Also can you refer a good front tyre as the stock tyre is almost bald, i changed the rear stock to MRF Zapper Q 90/90 18. How is my choice?

    Thanks,
    Ramki.

I really don't know from where its leaking!!! I see oil spelt on the engine. I thought this is feature of F2s but after seeing many of them without it i started to solve it with different mechanics but to my vain nobody is able to rectify it ...either by applying a white paste around the opening of the engine part or i don't know if any mechanics having done inside of the engine.

No, i think the gas kits weren't changed anytime...

        Thanks,
        Ramki.

@Ramki: I also have a Fiero F2 (2004). Yes, I have seen some engine oil leaking around too, but yours seems to be an extreme case. Go to a TVS authorized service center, they have some clips, which stop the engine oil from leaking. It will hardly cost you anything.
Tyres: I would advise you to stick to the stock i.e., 2.75*18". I'm still using my front tyre even after 45K kms. I had replaced the rear tyre at 20K kms.(2 yrs.from purchase), with the Classic CBZ tyre 100/90/18"tyres, which have been lasting ever since. No modifications needed. 90/90/18" is the stock tyre. You shouldn't have any issues with it. However I replaced it since it didn't last long for me!
