  • Hid installation honda unicorn ???

    Dear Friends
    HI

Two days before i mechanic has installed HID Xenon light in my bike the problem is that, only low beam is working although when i push the pass button the high beam works well but when i switch the light button from low beam to high beam the light goes off i am not understanding what is the problem.Your suggestions are valuable for me.

Your relay or the wiring will be the culprit. The relay makes the motor move so your low will be focused to high.!!

I think, your mechanic has forgot to convert the electrical system to full dc. The pass light runs on the DC. It may be when you press the pass button, the HID gets the the DC power and glows.Because the ballast need the DC power to operate.
I may not be correct as I am not aware of the setup made by your mechanic. There can be a problem with the wiring also.
I had this setups for few days. I connected the Halogen bulb as a high beam and the HID as a low beam(just changed the pin in the holder) - so, I can use the HID all the time.
        Move on.........

Had seen and solved the exact same problem on a friend's HH ZMAR. There is a diode in the wiring near the relay in the HID wiring harness.. When this diode blows the beam doesn't change.
