  • what options I have

    hey guys...

    I brought pulsar 220 9 months ago .. but riding it for 5 months I met and accident the fairing shockers and ptank handle clip oil cool pipe ... and all got damaged ..... it was march season and dus insurance company was quickly working ..... the bajaj service centre said that I will get the bike before april .... so I was happy ......

    but its 4 months now . and still I havn't got my bike .... when ever I ask they say that the head pune is sending wrong parts or doing back orders every time and so it is taking time .. my bike is unstarted for 4 months .... getting dusty ....

    what I want to ask is that is their any way I could claim them or do somthing ... I am really frustrated ....... pls help.....

        Speed is a joy but roads are not race track. Keep speed in your limit and always Drive safe...

          the problem is they are showing me the online chart were they use to do special orders (which comes within 3 day).... they are saying that its not their mistake but the main head is not sending the correct part and sometimes its just goes in back order...
          by looking at my bike I could say that its engine will never go to 153 again or even 100 ...... I just want do a case on them and get a new bike .. as my bike is only 4 months when I gave it to service centre.....

              Have you contacted Bajaj's customer care service...?

              Try doing that and if they do not respond early, get back to me for direct email IDs..!!!

                    As it is an accidental case so there have no way to get a new bike by alternating the old one. If it was a technical issue in a new bike before 1st servicing then there have 90% chances of replacing the bike.

                    Even more the insurance will cover max amount but still you have to pay the rest. Like the insurance coverage on plastic parts is just 50% or 40% AFAIK. Say the total amount after fully repairing, alternating parts of your bike is Rs.10,000, so its like the insurance will cover Rs.7000 and rest Rs.3000 you will have to pay.
