Acetone is such a strong solvent, it will easily eat up all the rubber parts it will come in contact with.
Acetone has a negative flash point meaning it is a highly flammable product and hence addition to petrol will cause a highly flammable mix which is not recommended nor desired.
Actone costs about Rs 50 odd per litre , so will not give any economy.
Acetone contains moisture and is also hygroscopic to a certain extent ( especially when ambient humidity is high during the monsoon) . So water in the carb is going to do no good.
A better way of getting mileage is to improve the driving habits and the engine conditions via good maintenance.

may b m late to rply, bt adding too much will increase the volatility of the petrol resulting in less mileage. 1 should use oly 0.78ml per litre of petrol. E okay if 1 adds 1ml per litre. I hav seen some people puttin 2ml 5ml.... Thnkin addin more will increase their mileage.. Hahahaha...
