  • Need help on Mods for R15 HID with projector headlamp.

    Hi All

Tarun here, I am planning to put up HID with projector headlamp on my R15. idea is to get only one light to change. In this its going to be the Right side one as that light works only with High beam. Actaully i am not able to validate the concept by myself. So need your help guys.

Also is there anyway by which i can increase the height of rear suspension?

    Thanks
If yesterday was the day, why i am still alive.....if tomorrow is decided for me, i cann't change it...let it come...they way it wants to...i might not win...but i will make sure that even you would not win easily...

    A kind note, with love

        1) While sitting on the bike the RH is for high beam
        2) No stock way of increasing the saddle height... a new swingarm which allows for a higher profile tyre could help gain few inches at the cost of performance

Is there any way, i can increase the height by adjusting the rear suspension, like we can do on any other bikes having regular suspension. Most of the bikes(pulsar, HH etc.) have adjustable shockers in rear.

Getting the right kind of projector is a pain, if u can source P220 lens for 3.5K approx will be fine as the P220 lens is one of the compact than the other after market retrofit types.

                  Hi guys ,
the R15 does not have any kind of adjustment for the rear suspension(nor height or stifness)though the the suspension is of very good quality. It automatically stiffens as the load increases. So its not possible to increase the ride height easily. If you want to increase the ride height there are two ways.1)make yourself a custom seat in which you have a higher seat height(but then the position will become more weird or difficult) or 2) and difficult one you have to remove the suspension mount on the swingarm and add metal there to increase the height.
Technically i would recommend the second option ,but since we dont have people that can work that skillfully on aluminium, so for now you have to have the same height or change the bike.

I will rather ride a slow bike fast than riding a fast bike slow.

Well i guess your rite..but if these are the only available options in hand, i might not be doing anything stupid. Thanks for the advice.
