  • Problem with rear alloy.... Need inputs

    Hey guys,

I have got an issue with my P200's rear alloy. I think it is slightly bent, I am having the stock MRF zapper using them with tube though. I being the second owner of this machine don't know if because of this issue the owner put a tube in it.

Bike also wobbles slightly when in between 55-60 kmph. If I am taking a high speed turn on curve at 100- 115 kmph, I feel loss of control. In straight line, it is quite ok.

Now, I am wondering what are my options, to change the alloy completely or can I somehow get it straightened... I need to change the tire also, since it is at the end of its tread life... will greatly appreciate your inputs, thinking of getting it done ASAP... since Monsoon is already here....

Heard that the P200 has got stability issues and the problems you mentioned match exactly of my colleague's friend who owns this. Is this why the P200 was discontinued? I would like to hear what the P200 owners have to say.

Well, I have this particular problem coz of bent alloy... i don't see this can be an issue for discontinuing the 200. The reason as per my understanding is that, they want to make some room for 220F, 220S and 180's. Now you can have 220 S in more or less the same price of 200. Which of course is a better machine in terms of performance, and the features.

Anyways got the bent removed from the alloy by alignment at Karol Baugh. Got a new zapper in place. Bike all of a sudden felt better, more controlled and even the suspension has improved considerably... I guess the tubeless tire is doing his job now..
