  • Your first bike!

We, the bikers of this planet, share a special bond with our first bike. Doesn't matter we are still riding it or not. There will always be a special place in our hearts and computer hard disks to keep the pictures and memories related to it. So, here's a leaf out of that special place for my Pulsar 150 DTSi, the first set of two-wheeler that i owned. Look at shining chrome. This picture was clicked more than 2-3 years after i bought the bike. Tells you a lot how much time i spent cleaning it.

That's mine. The very ride presntly I do, is also the first bike owned by me(SS125). Taken almost two years back(09.11.2012) right on the day of purchase. Love it very much and intend to keep it as long as possible.

And here it is with me again in the year 2014. Two rides which I have done on it that are worth mentioning are a Alibaug 800 km and a Nashik - Goa 1500 km one. Gave none problems at all.

I bought my first bike on the evening of 12 March 2014. These are the pics I took the very next morning.
Although I had bikes before, but they were my cousin's hand me down ones.
This was my first proper bike and the first thing I bought with my own money.

I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

From the picture, I can guess you have managed to keep the bike in a good condition.

                          Re: Your first bike!

Searched three months for a seconf hand pulsar 150/180 of 2007-2009 model .
Did about 600kms in that search.
Dealers to dealers ,olx to quicker, all went in vain .
Sometimes it wont click ,other times price wont match..
Was extremely sad and depressed that why m i unable to find a good old pulsar when they have thousands of them ..
What was i looking for ?
I didnt even knew there exists a connection kind of thing. .
With all efforts in vain ,papa decided to shoot budget a little bit and agreed to get a p150 new. It costed 78k ..
Wentbto showroom, TDed ,but still something didnt connected. It felt like riding a old thing you've ridden for long.
Then got 3 k more ,p180 was being TDed. A huge improvement over p150 ..okay ,instantly went to pay IN CASH ..
While i was counting money ,mom called and said not to buy today, because there was some INAUSPICIOUS day that time.
So with a heavy heart, as soon as i was approaching the exit gate WOHAAAA..
                          What was it ..?
                          It looked magnificent..
From around 231 crowd of discovers, pulsars only 3 of its kind stand apart in whole showroom..
Man how can i miss that lady..?
It was p200ns, standing in a dupe corner ,in black ,red and yellow skins ,totally blending in there ,yet screaming some mischief, some evil in that corner .
Went there ,stood stunned for 40min .
What is this..? It aint a pulsar, it looks totally kind of some jap high fi shit bike..
Read the specs ,Man O Man ,i felt some pre_c_u_m coming inside my pants ...
Instantly, p180 was no where in mind.
But, it costed a 20k more ,which was impossible for a piggy bank owner like me..
Went home, mom told to buy after 8 days ,it was some auspicious day ...
Everyone used to taunt me with 180 ,but none knew i wasnt a little bit interested in that bike ,i was sold completely on ns ..
                          Problem was. ..
                          1. How to convince dad for 20k ..
                          2. How to convince parents for a FASTER bike ..?
So rounds of discussion/beg/plead/guilty/what not went on ,ultimately, i won because of two arguments pit forwArd by me..
                          1. Mom ,every bike does 100 ,and we don't know about death, people die in crash, ppl die in home ,so we dont try to live in fear, that's not life.thats not how you live it..
                          2. Dad ,this is probably the first and last bike of me (now that i think of ,i was wrong ) ,so getting one i dont like for 80k and will ride with mourning and getting one that i've fallen in love with +20k more and riding happily ever after. .what do you think will be the right conduct.? ( this particular line closed the deal) ..
So went there on 12th ,bought a red devil ,and been riding with her since 18 months and 7000kms .
I know its a lot lower, but i try to keep up with my lady, sadly, she's the dominating one ..
Sorry for long post ,but thats how im about my love.
