The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

      • @ken da: The prize/memento/tribute is enthusiastically received !
And one is glad to be of service

Since the FXX is being discussed at length, another detail of note is that it doesn't carry a reg. plate nor does it have a indentation of any kind, for one.

          Thanks again!

It is not for nothing that I have a heavy weakness towards Italians!

How do the MRS stand when you compare to machines like the ones above? Is it worth collecting?

            • Nice collection there are these 1:24 or 1:18 scale? the pics make them look like 1:18. The only Ferrari kits i've seen here and have are of maisto, but that too in 1:24 only

                These are indeed 1:18.

These are not Indian and they are not Maisto. My son received them in his mail from Europe during his B'days and stuff. They do not belong to me.

2 of the earlier ones were smaller kits. They were DIY kits that he made. And the blue BMW M5 came from the BMW corporate headoffice in Gurgaon!

I was guessing along the lines of a Mazda RX (Was guessing the same as an M-R). The MR's (series) are a legend in their own right offering good handling and a decent choice of engines, but in terms of outright performance, they are way off the Italian and German supercars.

The MR would feel comfortable in the company of a Ferrari 360/Porsche Boxster/Ferrari F430 etc i.e the mass-produced (relatively) Ferraris and Porsches. Not the F50, 599 and the like.

You sold your 1:18 Lambo, your camera has been given back, you must be feeling pretty lonely out there...

Why did you sell your Lambo?
