Finally came across an indian site that sells 1:18 Burago models!
The choice is limited to 20 models as of now:

Have just ordered for the lambo and Jeep wrangler Sahara They have varied payment options including netbanking! The wait begins for my first ever Burago 1:18 babies Will post up once i recieve them

Disappointment, This is the mail i got from them :

Dear Sir,\r\nBoth cars are available in 1:24 and the price is Rs 795/- each\r\nKindly let us know so that we can process further \r\nFor the JEEP we will refund rest of the amount

Needless to say, i mailed them back stating that iam cancelling my order

Guys I dont collect scale model but I like making Papercraft models.I am posting my handcrafted Land Rover Defender made in three nights using a wedding card.Hope everybody like it.

@Anurag, for how it is made and the time it took, it is fantastic. And, it feels very good to see a Land Rover photographed on rocks instead on normal terrain like just another car... good one.

Irrespective of the fact how badly i try doing otherwise i just fail to stop myself.

Picked these today (All Maisto 1:18)

1. Yamaha YZF R7 Ornage
2. Yamaha YZF R6 Blue
3. Ducati 1098 Tricolor
4. Ducati Paul Smart replica LE 1000 Yellow
5. Ducati Hypermotord Red and last but surely not the least
6. Kawasaki ZZR 1400 Red

As of now a bad quality group pic, will try posting some good one pretty soon.

Buddy I made land rover in three days complete and got idea of making it after watching defenders offroading capabilities in camel trophy.Below are details of my rover with pic.


1.The whole body is sketched on plain paper and traced on card. Then all are glued , painted and then detailing of the rover starts.

2.Roll cage frame is made by empty ball pen refills glued for desired shape of cage.

3.Soft top made from my T-shirt.

4.Foot rest are made of aluminium sheet and check pattern made using compass and rular.

5.Wheels are made of thermocol and painted black.

6.Springs are of electric wire.
