Scale Model Collection Thread

Picked the following during Auto Expo:

1, 1:43 Tata Nano by Norev
2, 1:43 Fiat Linea By Norev
3, 1:24 Nissan GT-R by Maisto
4, 1:32 Mahindra Xylo by Excel Toys , this is a plastic scale model.

Made a Lighthouse for taking pics of the scale models and other collectibles

The open planes are for Lights , I use a CLF and put a chunni over it, result Diffused Light

In one place place the cam and other use CFL's with a chunni over it [white chunni]

a better option is to either tape or hold simple butter paper.the diffusion will be more smooth and better.and try all sort of lights.

an example.



just cover the model with normal paper and avoid the edges in the frame.this way you will get seamless white in the shot.

thanks.i use a fuji 6500 prosumer.

see what pose suits the model best.

for example this lamborgini looks fab when doors opened.



you can also try black backgrounds to contrast light colors.




you can also go for detailing.check out things which are unique to the model.for example this logo on the range rover.



and porsche written here..




this way you can further enhance model photos.

Yes the first three pics are clicked in studio setup only, though its a temporary one. I will try to develope it a bit more for better results.
