I see you have developed your skills in scale-model photography considerably over the period of time. Brilliant stuff, Bandhav.

just cover the model with normal paper and avoid the edges in the frame.this way you will get seamless white in the shot.

        happy clicking.

Where were you all these days man! Your shots are out of this world and you manage to make these scalemodels appear 1:1 all the time! Have seen your work in the beginning of the thread, please do post more such superb pics. That's too good photography from a proconsumer cam!

Congrats bandhav! Nice picks there! Merc shots are too good, do keep them flowing!

@ satan69in: Nice collection there! Is the mustang 1:18?

Nice bikes! 1:12 maistos right? The bike stand is really unique, is that made out of paper clip? The Naked R1 looks good, but where are the exhaust pipes?

Over the weekend, managed to pay a visit to model art in Forum mall and they have tons of new maisto 1:18 cars! Have taken few pics of their new models on display, will post pics soon. I ended up picking these from model art:

        Maistos/1:18 scale:
1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz - Red
Range Rover Sport (Finally!) - Maroonish Red

Found lot of new Burago 1:24 cars in Shopper Stop, Garuda Mall. Picked these up:

        Buragos/1:24 Scale:
Range Rover - Silver (Same Expedition version which Anvancy has posted pics of)
Mercedes Benz 300 SL - Silver (finally the gullwing!)

        Will post pics soon.

            • Thanks for the tips anvancy

The quality almost got me thinking its a DSLR
              I have a H50
My bad i didn't wait for the canon sx20 as it was not available at that time
Nor i had any interest in taking pics nor any knowledge......

Thanks for the Tips i will keep them in mind
It will take some time to build a pro setup as you have did...
having boards so out of time now

              Missing a tripod too

I am here only.the fact is that i dont have any scale models.so the chance of shooting them is out of question.

and sometimes i go beyond 1:1.

                an example.

now nobody will only click a tyre!

Okay, i was using just a single light and was finding the light to be inadequate, will try this now.

Haven't taken the exact count till now, the 'heads' are scattered all around, will have to take 'attendance' some day

Guesstimate population as of today should be:

                      1:18 Bikes: 12 +
                      1:12 Bikes: 48 +/-
                      1:10 Bikes: 3
                      1:6 Bikes: 3
                      1:9 Bike: 1

                      1:36 Cars: 28 +
                      1:24 Cars: 30 +
                      1:18 Cars: 45 +/-

Scale: a bit Smaller than 1:10, make unknown. Comes in a rigid box with Bajaj logos and with heavy duty packing.
Picked it up at venkat sir's Autoservice probiking service center here few months back. Costs around Rs 750 bucks, Thanks to venkat sir, i got some discount. The detailing is too good compared to maisto 1:12 bikes, Not sure who makes this but Bajaj has done amazing job in getting us this indian motorcycle scale model. I think this is the only indian street motorcycle scale model available, that too from the manufacturer! Bit pricey though, but the detailing is too good, it's got mainstand and side stand, free wheels, turning handle bar and the surprise part, both rear and front shocks work! The detailing of the instrument panel and the front faring headlight area is what i appreciate, that followed by detailing on the engine and the working shockers.
