        Though i am really heart broken, but no point sulking. Seems like i have to start from ground zero again and your company will be very helpful.

          Ill not say reality check but a different perspective.u got a huge collection.now just take some time out,take out your jazziest and most beauty scale models and try out yourself taking photos.you got the gear.i dont.what i have been observing throughout your photos were two basic things,underexposure and at places improper focusing.you can improve a lot on that.

          what you need to buy asap is a flash system/lighting system.just be more in TPIN also.start a thread on scale model if so.who knows you may get numerous tips.

But not enough time for completing them(busy with job).. Here the M1 is a paper craft model. But It took 50+ man hours to complete (within 7 days)... Soon will be adding more

                      • Thanks Sunny.

                        @Bandhav:

                        by in no way am I a pro in doing scale models.I dont have any,thats a different thing.

                        still looking at the shot i felt the car needed space.she looks on the point of claustrophobia.the car would have been even more enticing if it had space,like a typical car to right of the frame.and second the wheels turned.

                        just take time out and do some PPing to your shots of scale models.common its a mercedes!.try it out.your models will come to life.

                        just wanted to bring out the glow of the car.the noise on the bonnet is due to the sharpening.

                        if you feel no editing should be done on your photos do tell so.i believe in visual communication.

                        • Hmmm, i can see the difference, after seeing your pped shot i feel that my shot is again low on light. I have to work a lot to get the lighting right.Thanks for your consttuctive critique.

                          PS: This is a 1:43 model so no option of turning the wheels.

                            you do have a light tent?

                            i think you dont have a flash system right?well simple bulb solutions also work.our aim is diffused light.so if you can,take a spot bulb which is already half diffused.while taking a shot,preferably long exposure,move the bulb to illuminate the entire car when aiming for global light situations.this way the entire car is exposed neatly.

                            otherwise regular diy infinity setup also works.

                            • ^^You are right niether i have light tent nor i have the flash system. For this particular shot i used two CFLs and butter paper for diffusing the light.

                                just put a white card sheet behind the wall,let it run down creating a L.this will create your infinity white setup.you can buy simple table lamps,fit spot bulbs in it and then attach butter paper to diffuse the entire light.you can then adjust the angle of the light too.

                                once you get time make a tent out of a box.
