        • ^^ Nice shot praful. The photo needs some enhancement for enrichness.
In CS3 u try to adjust the shadow and highlights ,

Increase a lil exposure and reduce a lil offset ,this will give more contrast.

Use Lens correction filter to add vignette .

The part in bold went over my head! Sorry, but I have no idea of Photoshop!

Is there anyway I could have improved the shot at the time of clicking the pic?

Not that I hate post-processing, just don't usually have the patience+time with it. I usually do a litte PP with picasa with sharpness/saturation/levels thats all!

            • @Praful-Here's my take.

The mandir (Or whatever) is placed right in the middle of the image which is the best thing you have done. But if I look at fence all around it then I can see that they are getting cut at the edges. If I were you then I would have moved a few step backwards so as to include the whole fence and while processing I would have cropped it from below to kill the dead space.

Ok, so the basic point you are getting at is that during composition I should ensure that things are not cut anywhere in the picture!

                Shall keep that in mind!

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.
