    • @Bandhav: A very nice first try for a macro. Do you have any more pictures of the same 'subject'? That would make things interesting.

Shoot more macros; it's really a fascinating world out there!
      :)

        • @Bandhav: This is good. Next time you try and shoot this type of subject, try and get rid of any distracting elements from the picture, because macro is all about concentrating on the main subject.

Also, a top view perhaps is something that I, as a viewer would like to see instead of the side-on view that you have posted here.

Can the camera focus any closer? Have you tried?
          :)

Well, when googled abt the Focus-Recompose technique i came to know that what i was trying was the same So, i guess would require to practice a bit more on that..

You may be feeling that the ball is out of focus may be bcoz its a bit old and worn out as i had tried to focus on the ball so that the shoe becomes a little blur..!!

              • I am learning sir, i was trying to click it from top only but the condition was windy and i was not allowed to enter the park so i have to lean in stretching my hand as far as possible to take the pic. But still i will keep all these things in my mind while clicking macros next time.

Ah yes, you did tell me about the 'not letting you enter the park' thingy. Nevertheless, there is ALWAYS something to click as far as macro is concerned. Welcome to the world of tiny things, my Brother Bandhav!
