  • @Inder: If you didn't get what Synn said (all the technical mumbo-jumbo ), simply, don't use a flash!

    Moreover, do not attempt macro work on low light conditions. Macro and low light is a combination that really won't ever gel. Macro really appreciates as much light as you can provide (whether natural or artificial).

      Well, i could understand what he was trying to say...!! He suggested to reduce the flash effect a bit by putting a tissue paper over the flash...so that the brightness created by the flash becomes a little less...hope i got it right

      What you said in the 2nd point is absolutely right as i have faced this problem..

      • @synn: Nice pics, looks like its straight out of a Hallmark card!
        @chicane: nice one dude!

        Guys, I clicked this over last weekend's trip....Somehow don't feel too pleased about it....whats your take how could I have improved on the composition? PP'ing is kindda outta scope now a days for me as I don't have the time for it, so pics are straight from the cam .

          • Praful: The image would have looked a lot more appealing had the light streak been in a diagonal instead of being straight across the screen horizontally. Use perspective to your advantage. instead of pointing the camera at a right angle to the bike, get closer to the bike (But not too close so that the bike won't be seen at all)and point it away from it, towards the empty road on the left.

                        • @Wheelspin-Good set there.Pretty much the way I would have done it.The colours could have been more vibrant in the third picture.

                          @ankit-The second one is good but the colours look a bit un-natural.Just tone down the saturation level.

                                Probably, it is the white-balance to blame.
