The first is merely ok.
The second picture would look really good if you correct the horizon and change it to a square crop.
Third is very good and is perfect as it is.
Fourth needs either an assymetric crop or a close up crop. Placing subjects dead center is not really advisable.

@shaggy- The photos u have taken is good as far as angle is concerned. but it is lacking techniques and camera setting. The fotos are overexposed and is pinching the eyes. I couldn't keep the second photo openeed for more than few seconds.Originally posted by shaggy25 View PostSome Silhouttes from my side...waiting for your comments
Silhouttes has to be soothing, so getting an underexposed shot is not a bad idea. Do some post processing to get the exposure right.
While shooting in a bright sunny day, u may be unable to make proper feedback from the LCD, so use the histogram in that case to check the exposure. Or take multiple shots in different exposure and check the histogram in PP and adjust the levels/curves accordingly.

@speed-Good shot. But the building at the background is quite distracting for my eyes.
Btw how did you created the drop effect? And is that Mysore palace?
@prabhu-Not sure but I think the 2nd image would have looked better if the it was cropped.Last edited by MG; 05-14-2009, 05:59 PM.
