    • @Prabhu: You have clicked the pic at the precise moment when the ox are leaping in the air, but i feel that pic seems to lack a little in terms of sharpness.

      • Thanks for C&C Bandhav, could you please tell me how to improve the sharpness of the pics I take, just using the right shutter speed will work or is there any thing else that will affect the sharpness.

        Thanks in Advance.

I am no expert, but i feel that the shutterspeed should be a little on the higher side as you are clicking moving object, and the subsequently in PPing you can increase the sharpness, and in case of the above posted pic you should have tried cropping it a bit.
Experts, please correct me if i am wrong.

PS: You didnt use your DSLR for this pic? If i not wrong the pic is clicked sometime around 12 to 2 as the lights are pretty flat which has resulted pic being overexposed.

            • @Bandhav :- I guess its from Nikon D90.
@prabhu :- The focus is off target, if you observe the trees in the background they look relatively sharper, I guess you used AF-S mode for the pic. For moving objects use the AF-C mode, it continuously tracks the moving object. In D90 only the center point AF sensor is a cross point sensor, which is much more precise in locking focus and tracking moving objects, always try to use the center point as much as possible, compared to the other AF points as they are not cross point sensors.

              Note :- The D300, D700 , D3 & D3x have 15 cross point sensors .

              • oh! thanks a lot guys..
@Bandhav ya I took it with the DSLR only, may be its 10th pic that I took with it.

@bprags: ya the focus is off target. The bulls were fast and as I was standing close, the auto focus was not doing good, becoz I had a lag between the half click and full click.
well let me first check what is AF-S and AF-C and cross sensor points

                        • Whoa! Lovely shot. Is that from a UWA or is it a stiched panorama?

Could use a tinge of saturation and contrast, but is perfect otherwise.

                              • thanks its pretty much just taken and stitched together with PTGui pro. im still trying to figure it out but you can stitch them together in layers and then play with it in photoshop.

                                great programme for making panoramas
