  • Thanks Synn & MG. No PhotoShop and hence, not able to edit / post-process the images.

I should install PS sometime soon.. But i was just wondering.. Wasn't Photography related to the Camera's & Lenses alone? Or Post processing is a must for every image to make it look better?

    • ^^^once upon a time it was but today everyone uses PS to make even average pics into
      masterpieces
there are exceptions though who still never use computers and prefer the old-fashioned way

Post processing was around way before digital came about. Old school photographers spent hours in the darkroom altering their pics the way they wanted to. in fact, most photo-retouching tools are based on darkroom techniques that existed way back when.

                  • @ Kiran : The cross pic looks nice...but in the bird pic, the bird doesn't seem to be that prominent in the photo..!!

                      Thats true Inder....
With the camera I have.. I could not get a better depth of focus that that
Also the bird was very fast moving.. so getting that pic itself was an achievement for me

You could have shot that bird(or any other) where there won't be that much leaves..!!
Coz S3 is capable of taking better photos than that..

                          • @ MG thanks. Here's attaching another image which I have cropped from bottom.Haven't changed any saturation levels.Only softened it a bit.
can you help to make it look even better.I tried using PS but bit of too complex so used corel photo 12 to edit but didnt do any changes as I wasnt satisfied with the result.
                            anyone else can help too

Hi everyone I had a bit of liking towards photography but never got time for it but whenever I got time I always clicked a few pictures but never thought of the techniques and all just clicked the way I liked and never shared it on the net but this was all until yesterday when I found this thread and gone through it for about 5 hours{11:00 pm to 3 am} and I was like getting mad reading and seeing your pictures here..

and I too have clicked a few pictures today but thought for a long time to post in here or not but still posting one pic..

treat the pic as from a beginner will take a few pics outdoors and post them here..
