multiple exposures... can be done in camera or with the help of a photo editing software.Originally posted by samarr View Posthttp://www.xbhp.com/autopictorials/data/500/4510.jpg

judging from the shadows... it looks like this pic was shot in low light... which is usually ideal for multiple exposures as that prevents massive overexposure.
an easy way to to this is mount the camera on a tripod and take the two double-exposures... ie... three shots... and then line them up in photoshop and alter the opacity.
in the in-camera way to do this involves multiple exposures... you'll need to use negative exposure compensation to avoid any overexposure. you'll need a basic understanding of exposure compensation..

Simply put, "long exposure shots" is keeping the shutter open for a longer period of time. It is very helpful for shooting photographs of water, night shots, trails, and many other creative shots.Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View Post@all, What are long exposure shots?? For me nothing looks different from a normal picture. Ohh!! I'm so stupid.

^^ Thanks.
But, How to do it? Does it has any thing todo with controlling or varying shutter speed. + Does it improves the pictures that are taken in Halls? for e.g. When i take a picture in a party organised in a hotel the picture quality is not upto the mark even when the light is sufficient. I have a Nikon L20(digital camera).
