1. Comfort:
The first thing anybody notices about a pair of gloves is how comfortable they are. How comfortable they are over long periods, How comfortable they are in cold, rain heat etc.
The first time I came across these gloves, I was a newbie, at-least in Motorcycling gear field. I was looking for a decent pair of gloves with a budget of around 5k. Saw them and was very skeptical initially about the comfort they will provide. But took the bait and they have been nothing less than fantastic. The best part though for me have been the Staff at Let's Gear Up, who essentially taught a noob like me how to put on a pair of gloves properly when i ran up-to their shop just because they put some marks on my hand when i wore them for first half hour.
Ride 1 : Nandi Hills Drive.
First ride that i took with these gloves on was a quickie to Nandi- Hills. A distance of around 150 odd kmks was covered and it was wet as well as cold around 4 in the morning. The fool that I was, I tightened the glove so much that I made them uncomfortable for myself. My whole hand was covered in marks from the lining of my gloves and it started to pain before My friend made me realized that I had worn them improperly.
Ride 2 : Lepakshi Temple.
This Ride was done in extremely hot and humid weather around mid-day. Distance this time was 230 odd Kms.

The best thing that I loved about this Gloves is fitting and Refinement. It fits exceedingly well and feels almost like the second skin. The Leather is plush, and stitching is very well done.And added to it was the perfect fit it was on my hand that I was personally looking for.


There is a very decent ventilation and it never gets very suffocating and Sweaty inside under normal circumstances. It's as close to perfection as a summer glove as any other heavy leather gloves that I have ever seen.
Insulation from cold is also very good considering that it is not a winter glove.
The maximum ride i have done in it has been in rain and though these gloves are not classified as WaterProof, they did held the water back very well.

One negative point that few of my fellow buyers[I have a couple of friends who took the bait like me] have encountered is a slight pain in the wrists during initial phases of rides. But after first 100kms or so, the pain gradually disappears.
Over all on comfort parameter, it scores a 4/5

they had three models in stock when I bought mine, 2 of which were of wrist length and one was full length with wrist protector added to it.
I own a full length one which is not marked as weather proof, though they told me that they will be launching one under adventure tag.

I have already messaged them on fb and asked for a size and price chart for better clarity regarding prices, sizes and types of gloves available. Will update the thread as soon as I get the info.

I picked the same pair for 2650 last week. Haven't put it to use though.

Sorry. These are the TBG Sport. I don't know why I thought explorer. I went with an intention to buy the explorer and picked the sport instead. These are a bit more expensive.
Been using them for short rides (<1 hr) and they are quite comfortable. Though personally the TBG street feels a lot better due to the stitches being on the outside.

Yes I saw that the other full gauntlet ones looked much better. But they weren't rain proof. I was looking at something to wear in rain.

How these are compared to rynox apex evo as they have somewhat same specs ?

You can use mild soap, like a little hand wash in a jar of water and mix it to create light froth. Then take a tooth brush and clean the gloves. Toothbrush will properly clean the gloves and also remove any insect corpses that get stuck in the vents. After that just let them dry in shade.
Water is bad for leather but I think it will cause harm only if let the gloves keep submerged in water for a length of time, just cleaning them a little using a toothbrush is unlikely to affect them too much. I had a Planet DSG full gauntlet glove since 2011 until recently and it is still going strong in spite of being soaked in water due to torrential rains many times and two accidents.

You can also get them dry cleaned I guess.

Dude, I am just going through your blog, you are an extraordinary photographer man... I am stunned at the beauty of your pictures. Do share at least parts of your trips on xBhp too, more people deserve to see these trips. You have had quite a few rides as well, its good to read the experiences of such an avid rider. Hats off to you to man!
