My recommendation would be the following if it is available in the Indian market.

• SJ Cam,
• Yi,
• Xiomi,
• Akaso

Not listed in any particular order, but I would recommend that you look at the various models they offer and pick the one that fits your requirement.

Thanks. Will definately do my research on these brands. I had checked SJ Cam & YI model on Amazon some time back as dashcam for my car. Akaso is looking interesting.

Check SJcam, Yi, GitUp and Firefly.
Firefly offers most value for everyday user.

Also check the spec sheet carefully, check the chipset and the sensor.
Ambarella h12s combined with a Sony imx117 is the best best around 7-11k market.
Further you have h22 chip like on sj8 pro.

Keep away from older SJcams, not worth your money anymore. Get sj8 pro or none.

Yi is good but remember middle-order Yi cams don't get an external microphone support, you may need this in future.

GitUp G3 is a good nice camera, been using it, lacks proper 4k. Rest is all good.

Firefly 8s/8se has the right combination, does 4k, doesn't heat up. Puts the max quality output at 1080p compared to others above, except sj8 pro, while using same card.
