  • Is it safe to fit LED light in handle bar?

I see many people fitting LED light at end of handle bar & that glows at night. I was wondering if these are safe to fit in handle bar?
What are the chances of this getting short circuited? Are these LED lights waterproof & will they work without causing any problem during rain?

I personally do not see any use of them in City to be honest but it is helpful in increasing bike's visibility for Car drivers on Highways (if u don't have Always On Headlight on ur bike). As far as safety n durability is concerned, it is absolutely depended upon the mechanic who installs it...but it's also good to enquire about the wiring n make sure all joints n openings are sealed properly to avoid any mishaps.
