    Help me choose a riding jacket!

    Hi , first post here, mods please do let me know if I screw up. Thanks.

    So I am confused between 2 choices of riding jackets

    1. Solace Furious Touring Jacket v2.0

      Try them at a store, check the ventilation, since you have to use it daily, this is a very important factor.

      Next, check the weight. The lighter one is what you'll wear more.

      Next check protector coverage. Back and chest, and the arms.

      Check reflectivity, the one with more of this is more safer on your longer rides at night.

      Goodluck, there is nothing much to choose between these two. I have been using Furious since 2017 and it works good for me.

        Hi! Welcome to XBHP.
        Rynox is a great brand and Stealth Evo Pro is a great riding jacket as well. So it is a great choice. I personally use Alpinestars T-Faster which was pried around Rs13000. So if you can bump up your budget a little but, you ll get an Alpinestars jacket which without questions is a great brand.

          I have been using SOLACE FURIOUS for over 3 years now and loving it.

          What I love about it:
          1. The fabric is highly resistant to abrasion, scuffs and tear.
          2. Level 2 shoulder, elbows and back protection.
          3. 3M Reflective taping for improved visibility during night riding.
          4. YKK Zippers, three layered thermal and rain liners for all-weather riding.
          5. Zip-down wind-blocking panels at front and rear for cooling temperatures on long rides.



          If you do a lot of touring, I cannot recommend another product. It is really worth its (nearly) 12k price tag.

          For more suggestions, read this article on Best Riding Jackets online . The author has featured 14 of the top selling jackets in India ranging a price tag of 5000 to 20,000 rupees. I am sure you will find something useful in the article on the basis of your budget.
