  • Riding Boots

    Hello fellows,

I am looking for touring purpose boots. I have some questions regarding that.

Do I select a proper full length ones or short ones or trekking boots?

Water proof is not necessary as I prefer external waterproof cover.

Riders your suggestions are much needed here.

    Thanks in advance.

If going for budget options, people get industrial steel toe safety shoes. Having been in accidents, I'd say get those for 2k they're worth it.

JCB excavator and earthmover are some good options. I have earthmover and these last 1-2 years easily with regular usage. I've been using mine daily for commute since 1-1.5 years.

Hello. Can you please share what bike you ride, what's a typical touring day like, what speeds you usually do or how do you look at your riding (aggressive, sedate etc), do you ride in rain, what's the rest of your riding gear & your boot budget.

I guess one can use safety shoes with ankle protection.
Some feel it's quite hard on gear changes as the toe inserts are quite heavy.

Check out orazo riding boots I guess it may be one of the decent priced ones on the market..

              Hi,

I would suggest you to buy TCX boots as I am using from last 2 years and they are very much comfortable. My experience in TCX riding boots is very positive. I purchased them from High Note Performance. You can go through their website and check out all boots.

              Thank You
