hi,i also own a eliminator nd its going great its one of the first bikes which were delivered on 1st of august 2001 in delhi.it oddometer has clocked more than 83000 kms and is still going strong.........

no major issues till date with the bike except the normal and regular servive.one thing that went wrong was its center stand twice it came out of its clamps and the third time when it came out it ripped the chaiss and then i had to get the complete chaiss replaced.....thank god it was covered under warranty,otherwise the engine is still in perfect shape........and yes i m very happy to own ........ sorry very happy to posses it.

i feel sorry that bajaj does not comes out with such reliable bikes now..............WHY ?

every product has a life cycle whether small or long so dont think of that eliminator owners are a dying breed whoever has an eliminator and who cares for it will make it live longer................CHEERS !!

@ topic starter u make a very valid point..Bajaj has definately churned out alot of products over the years but quality is a major issue. I'm quite huffe aobut my 200 here as reliablity and quality of parts has to be questioned..

nother thing bro if u do decide to go out and not sell ure bike......do not and i re[eat do not drain the engine oil........drain all the petrol from the tank, dissconnect the battery and store safely on a wodden plank, park bike on main stand, lube all important and exposed metal parts such as ure chain, clutch cable throtle cable all the footrest nuts and bolts and ya since the elimantor has alot of chrome parts on it u mite want to put a layer of grease on the wheel spokes and other parts. i help my friend maintain his elimantor here in Goa and sice he stays in calangute which is a beach side place he puts a layer of greese on his full bike efore he goes out of station.....as salt water is more prone to rust ones chrome.....

al tell u dude do as i told u and wen u return from down under reconnect the battery get a through wash of ure bike, drain and put in new oil, fill fuel and obviously charge ure battery. and VOILA ure eli will b newer than new..

Guys i m planning for buy a secondhand eliminator the lost breed from Kawasaki..which is perfectly use...no scratch....but i m only think about spare...can i get the spare in kolkata..where do u have any idia..then only i can go for buy the byk.he want 45000 for that bug i ..how mach i will cost for a perfect eliminator do you have any idea..

@vikaskurup: Try Sterling motors in lamington road for the air screw. Sterling is the main distributor for bajaj spares in Mumbai. Had got a carb for my kb-100 from him so you should in most probability get it there.

am really lucky to be an owner of the legendary indian cruiser the ELIMINATOR.... with no other bikes to compare with it,its really smooth and got a great stability in higher speeds (done 150+ kph with no shakes or vibrations) and good braking too..... but it lacks a sudden acceleration when it is at lower speeds
and got problem with scarcity of spares
now looking for itz fuel tap....plz help

Mods and best price for used eliminator

Dear friends, I have been a great fan of the eliminator and always craving to own one. Given that this is no longer in production, I have been scouting for a good used one. I have found one which is a Dec 2002 bike in Hyderabad with around 35K on the odo and in original black paint. The price quoted is 30K.

Following are some of the things to be fixed:
1. Replace the front tyre
2. Replace the clutch plates
3. Replace the battery.
4. General service.

Please let me know what is a good price to negotiate for this deal

First why an eliminator ?? when it has been stopped long back!! es it's a kawasaki hands in it, but still it's a problem all time if you get one! But price is too high! 30k

You wll 200c awenger in 30k say 2-3yrs old. why 2003 model??

i guess engine parts should match with Awenger which was 180cc, renamed it from eliminator after the merger went off!! or even p180 parts should work INMO. But mostly don't go for that in any ways!!

The fun is ride a ride which is feasible anytime to maintain!!

Kawasaki Eliminator ownership review

Hello friends,
I'm owning a Kawasaki Eliminator from last 13 years. Till now my bike gives me the same shine and charm which was in 2003. Even the engine capacity is 175 cc which is not that powerful but the power is much more from that written on the paper and of course the fun riding a cruiser bike is amazing. Till june 2016 the odometer was showing 97K kilometres and unfortunately someone steal that meter and now my bike is without meter.
