Hi guys ...in anticipation i picked up stuff for the bike and all of it has already come...

i thought the wait for the ninja 650 was never ending, hence i gave up, i have booked a RE 500 crome. i know there is no comparison between ninja and RE 500. however i made the decision keeping in mind the high entry cost of ninja and committment on delivery dates for the past 6 months or so. hope i donot repent on my decision. have been on bullet in college days, really love the thumping sound and the overall presence of the bike.

happy waiting for all those who still want to go in for the ninja 650.

Next step is to put up my CBR 250R ABS for sale. Its good bye to Honda and a grand welcome for the Kwacker !!

On road price in Lucknow for Ninja 650R is 5,60,000 INR.

did you go in for black n650? helmet looks plain... also from road visibility perspective, it would be nicer to have a brighter helmet...white or white/green or may be you can prep this up with some cool monster official sticker set or rossi or any other rider sticker set

Nagoo I am sooo reading it as i was in PBK B'lore at 4pm today getting dissapointed as they still saying not yet!..have been carrying a bloody cheque with me..just in case

did you go in for black n650? helmet looks plain... also from road visibility perspective, it would be nicer to have a brighter helmet...white or white/green or may be you can prep this up with some cool monster official sticker set or rossi or any other rider sticker set

No worrisomebear I still have not a booked as I mentioned in the previous post ... and since only candy lime green available no option of black, I always liked matte black helmets plus it gives me a canvas to do some custom graphics of my own as I come from a design background. I totally agree with the low visability so will have some hi-viz graphics.

Hey Varun could you give us an idea of the financials, what did you pay down and when do you pay the rest?

Hi Vectorz, I paid them the booking amount which is 50K and they said once the booking confirmation arrives (still waiting on that) I will have to pay them another 1 lac. The rest of the amount I can pay anytime before delivery. They made it pretty clear that these booking amounts are Non-refundable.
