I can see a very ugly sari guard I believe this will be the first thing to come off the bike for the new owners

Price OTR Chennai is 5.65L I think. Bike looks very good - better than the 2011 IMO. Even the new green is not bad considering this is a Sportsbike.

I'm not buying this until I find a buyer for my 2011 - have asked the showroom guys for help though since I'm a very satisfied 2011 owner. Have clocked about 17k kms in the last 11 months, despite never commuting with her.

Sunny whats the OTR price in Chennai? and how does the bike look in person?no test ride and lastly when do plan on cash&carry? Do post a pic of the bike in the showroom if possible.

Delivery of the kwacker 650 is set to start from the week after next. Bookings are more or less closed all over. This info was obtained from Probiking showroom.

Just visited the PBK in Chennai to have a look at the bike. They have a simple policy - cash and carry!

Three bikes in storage, whoever pays first gets it! No bookings being taken, just buy it off the shelf! Me likey!

Yep, that is what he said over the phone. I clarified twice. Since I saw all the 2 week delivery info on this thread, just posted to put it out there to see if others have heard of it as well

Traction control. as an aftermarket accessory? Are you kidding me?

Traction control is immensely advanced especially for bikes my friend considering the challenge of four vs two wheels. Aprillia uses gyros and a complex data system while kawasaki's telemetry system analyses over 200 datapoints a millisecond before delivering the right torque to the rear wheel.

traction control if you plan for monsoon rides and rides in heavy rains.
improved brake pads. and upgrade brake lines to galfer steel braided line.

So, if you book now, you will get your bike in December. But if you book in October, you will get it in November.

Called up Mumbai probiking today - bookings are closed (as expected), but when I asked when are the folks who've booked going to get the delivery - he said 4 months. On this thread I am reading 15 days .. something amiss?

On asking next booking opening he said Oct. and mentioned that deliveries would be under 1 month if booked in Oct.

So, if you book now, you will get your bike in December. But if you book in October, you will get it in November.

Doesn't make sense at all.

I would suggest you call up as many probiking showroom as you can. you may find one where they will accept the booking. Hurry.

unfortunately I have never been on FB but looks I will sign up to join the group and utilize the groups culminated knowledge base.

and i am sorry man but as of now I will not be booking the N650 in this lot as i still dont have the permission from Home Ministry......
