    Hi everyone,

    Bought Gixxer 250 on December 9 2021,In this post i will be sharing my experience on the bike.

    leg guard was removed later (it was very close to radiator infact it actually bent 4-5 fins hence removed).

      Odo - 1300KM

      First Service cost - 1090 (Motul 10w40 Fully Synthetic Oil used)

      Mileage -
      City : 37.8 Kmpl
      Highway 70-80 - 44 Kmpl (Before 750KMs under 5k rpm)
      Highway 80-90 - 42 Kmpl (After 750Kms under 6k rpm)
      If you ride sanely it can easily give 450Km range before refueling. (although i recommend to refuel at 400Kms)

      Engine is Butter smooth till 4.5k rpm, Slight buzz at 4.5k rpm after 5krpm feels okay.

      Seat comfort is Average (will mod later)
      Sitting position is good for 5.9"
      Clutch is hard and becomes hectic in traffic
      Throttle also slightly hard and gave me cramps in long traffic
      Low end torque good.

        Odo - 2600KM
        ​​Engine is not as smooth as it was before
        suspecting Motul 7100 is getting bad
        Will change at 3500 KM
        ​​​​MRF Front tyre is loosing pressure 8psi per month with just 600km of riding

        Brakes are still good but not the best

        Mileage -
        City : 37 Kmpl
        Highway: 40 Kmpl

        ​​​​​​Haven't modified seat yet
        comfort is not good on stock seat
        Will mod after 5000km of use

        ​​​​​​Headlight is not adequate for night use
        will install AUX lights soon

          Odo - 4300KM

          ​​2nd service completed at 4000KM
          cost - 1190 (oil+oil filter changed)

          Custom seats installed for comfort
          they are only 50% effective
          stiff suspension is still the only factor that makes me regret buying this for touring

          Mileage -
          City : 30 Kmpl
          Highway: 44 Kmpl

            ODO - 6900KM

            3rd service completed at 6850KM

            front brakepad changed at 6500 km (383 rs)

            cost - 2060 (oil+oil filter+air filter+sparkplug+chain clean+lube+brakepad cleaning)

            comfort is better now, still suspension are stiff (not even close to comfort of dominar and pulsar 250s)

            stock leg guard installed (900rs)

            aux lights installed (HJG Y LED 40w)

            Mileage -
            City : 28 Kmpl
            Highway: 43 Kmpl

            0 issues from bike as of now
