Thanks for posting your views about Xpulse 200 4v. Have seen all of your videos also. I am also planning to go for Xpulse 2004v.

As you mentioned in your 1st post that you have test ridden ADV 390, Himalayan before buying the 200 4v, my query is what made your mind change towards buying the Xpulse?

Firstly, congrats on the ride. Hope you are having fun!

I want to bother you with a few questions, if you can please answer.

1) Out on the highway how easy is it to cruise on 95 Kmph - 100 Kmph (I am 95 Kgs + pillion 55 Kgs + light luggage) ? At what RPM does it touch 100KMPH in the 5th Gear?
2) Earlier there used to be big ABS issues, are those sorted now?
3) Does the rear suspension bottom out with a heavy pillion on normal potholed roads or speed breakers?
4) Is the headlight illumination good for city rides (some parts will have patches of darkness)?
5) How is the tyre grip on wet roads? Does the rear tyre skid?

The xPulse is all about low and grunt, it does lose out of top end as all sub 200 cc motorcycles. The suspension does bottom out when fully loaded and sag not set right. If you feel bottoming out is an issue, increase rear preload and that helps. The ABS issue was a bummer earlier, it seems HERO did have it proactively rectified and the recent bunch doesn't throw any tantrums going offroad.The headlight is OKAY both on and off road, great upto 80 kmph. Tire grip is good during dry conditions but on wet and slushy, it can be twitchy at times, but take it easy and it shouldn't be unnerving.

Basically adv 390 lacked low end grunt and new himalyan was just too heavy for my taste. 🤟🤟

I used for even off road touring, had a great experience with my bike that xpulse 200 . Also mileage i got 43 kmpl in long rides , 40 kmpl in city rides.In 200 cc segment mileage of 40 is so great .

Hello everyone! I took the delivery of my new Xpulse 200 4V 12 days ago (red colour). I have completed 980 kms as of now & the first service of my bike has been done.

So far I am experiencing only one issue. After riding my bike for, say, 30 mins, whenever I close the throttle completely to allow engine braking to slow down the bike, I hear a strange rattling sound. This sound appears only when I am decelerating using engine braking and not when I am accelerating. It's almost as if some screw is loose and it is vibrating. At first, I thought the sound is coming from inside the engine but when I revv the engine in neutral, I don't hear any rattling sound. Just pure engine exhaust note like it's supposed to be.

Other than this issue, my bike is running flawlessly. I commute 80 kms everyday to work which is mostly bad roads & this is where Xpulse really shines bright like a diamond! I'm going to visit the service center this coming Sunday to get this issue rectified. Have any one of you experienced this rattling sound which appears only while decelerating? If yes then I would like to know the cause of it.
