I've bought this one on last week and I'm from Bangladesh. I'll post a short review later.
I've a question; what is the official grade of engine oil for Phoenix? My bike haven't come with any owner manual, so that's why I'm asking this.

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

                TVS Phoenix 125 Brake Upgrade

                Hello people
I own a 2014 TVS Phoenix 125 . The front brake setup is same as Apache RTR ( except a small disc). The braking is good but it lacks the feedback,it is kind of abrupt. The problem is if I keep pressing brake lever with same force the bike doesn't slow down fast enough BUT if I apply a little more pressure the disc gets suddenly grabbed abruptly.
Any repair or modification to resolve this issue.
Note:- New brake pads(ASK make) are installed before 5k kms and brakes are bleed before 5k kms(Castrol Dot 4)
                Regards,
                BALAJI

Re: TVS Phoenix 125 Ownership Thread

Guys , require suggestion for good DOT 4 brake fluid.
Getting a new front master cylinder as old is damaged . Which master cylinder would be good?? ( Not getting a stock one , looking for upgrade). All suggestions are welcome

Re: TVS Phoenix 125 Ownership Thread

Upgraded the master cylinder to BYBRE from fz16 v2 . Braking has improved very much, mainly feedback. Braking is more progressive as compared to stock TVS master cylinder which is more abrupt.
Still pending upgrade - P220's steel braided front brake hose.
                    Regards,
                    BALAJI

Thank you for sharing the technical specifications of the TVS Phoenix 125. As for your question about the official grade of engine oil for the Phoenix, it is recommended to use a 10W-30 grade engine oil for this motorcycle. However, it's always best to refer to the owner's manual or consult with a trusted mechanic for specific recommendations and guidance on maintenance and servicing.
