Here is my bike 2014 Hero HUNK, bought on May 5th 2014 from the famous LAKSHMI MOTORS, Somajiguda, Hyderabad.

After a lot of confusion, i finally selected HUNK to be my next bike. My selection proved to be a very strange one because, this bike was not there in stock of most of the dealerships - reason is 'no one asking for HUNK'. My previous bike was Hero Honda Xtreme (Grey-new version), it was dearest to me and had loads of memories with it. But, sadly i had to part with it.

After few days of savings for the next bike, my hunt resumed. Definitely, it should be from HERO stable. So, I've shortlisted Karizma R, Karizma ZMR and HUNK. Obviously, there was a 'NO' for costly bikes like Karizmas at home. Half-halfheartedly I've zeroed HUNK.

Here starts my struggle, was calling maximum dealers in Hyderabad for HUNK. Everyone's answer was, 'NO STOCK right now' and 'we will get for you in ten days time'. But, as i had no bike at that time and had to assist my family members in cousin sister's marriage preparations; i was need of bike at that point of time. Finally, I happened to call LAKSHMI MOTORS, Somajiguda...and what, they have two HUNKs in their showroom. I immediately rushed to the showroom and saw two beautiful HUNKs (Red and one strange color). At first glance, i was bowled over to that strange color and asked the Executive to block that bike for me. And that strange color was MAPLE BROWN. It was very beautiful and appealing. I had paid half of amount in cash and gone for finance for the remaining half.

Showroom guys were friendly and delivered bike with all relevant papers. Went to nearby SHELL bunk and filled tank and zoomed off to home with a big smile :-D

I had gone for registration bit late, as i was waiting for the new state to get formed and the registration would be done for TS series. It was also a smooth affair and unexpectedly got a good number.

All is well going as of now. Clocked 6400+ as of now. Getting mileage of 49-51 kmpl.

Request you guys to let me know whether anyone of you got the same color HUNK...curious to know.
