Hello from Bangalore and congrats on your new beast.

You don't see many of these on the road, in fact I have seen maybe two others till date. Z800 is much more common.

Anyways, I got one too back in April this year and was in half a mind to write an ownership review one of these days since there are none anywhere. I believe you beat me to it.

You are sure to have a magical time with it. Good luck and ride safe!

It's not Puig. It's just a random brand from AliExpress. But it's good enough.
One thing you'll struggle to find are model specific accessories for this bike.

Great write-up about a damn sexy bike. Congrats! Thinking about getting one in a few months. Is it available in red?

Many Congratulations on the baby"Z", wishing you many more happy miles with smiles!!

I have owned a Ninja 650 in the past, although the tank capacity is 16-17 liters, the max i could use was around 14 liters. Is the same for the baby"Z" too or is all of 17 liters usable, looking forward for your response.

                Cheers!!

Re: Kawasaki Z250 Owners Reviews and Experiences

All of the 17 litres are usable and then some. Just last week I almost completely dried up the tank getting back from a long ride. When I filled it up it took 17.01 litres. I reckon it could go another 5-10 kms too. Also, few months back an attendant filled oil mix petrol so had to drain everything. After that it took 17.2 litres.

Thank you, this helps! I am happily surprised to know that all 17 liters of fuel is usable. I never tried to use all of the fuel available during my Ninja 650 ownership.

Thanks again and all the best for your second service and please keep those updates coming...

I am also thinking of buying z250.

                        1. Can you tell me how's the service cost?

                        2. I found z250 seat not so comfortable for long drive, showroom guy suggested to install a gel seat from outside. Have you installed a gel seat ? If yes how much it cost?

                        3. I didn't see place on the bike for a leg guard and faring protection. Have you installed them?

                          Hi,

                          Planning to buy Z 250.
Can you tell me what's the maintenance cost for it ,servicing cost to be exact. FE no issue.
And have heard Kawasaki is splitting up with Bajaj and KTM in India and will be operating on its own from April 2017, so would it make any difference??

Yes the ATM its very hard to reach Kawasaki soo keep a watch on that, cost of spares and maintenance will be high, I have hardly seen any z250s around , Kawasaki's strong point is the mid range market, they don't have a affordable starter bike, I wonder what happened to the single cylinder 250.Do extensively talk to the Kawasaki people on cost and availability of spares , ive heard dsk might partner with Kawasaki for service centers, not sure how true.

Ya I talked to one of the Dealership, they are ready to give me a discount of around 60K because one of the Dealership is closing and they want to clear their stock. This is bugging me a lot. And the Guy at Dealership also confirmed that Kawasaki and Bajaj will end their partnership in April.

Hmmm do watch out, I don't think its a ideal time to be purchasing a Kawasaki bike till they get their service and sales sorted, having said that you don't have a twin cylinder naked option apart from the TNT 300, unless Yamaha brings their MT -03 , the new duke 390 is worth a wait in my opinion.
