Hello Akshay..thanks for the suggestions..appreciate it though i have my doubts .. based on the compression ratio the fuel suggested is 95 octane...if it was peak pressure in the chamber deciding it i could understand the tweaking in bike settings...but i don't think you can tweak compression pressures without design changes...and still issue the same technical manuals...

Well Sir in dehradun you can find one petrol pump at new empire Cinema hall , rajpur road called universal petrol pump...
Another is near Prince chowk called meghdoot petrol pump...
They both provide extra premium petrol.... Other than these 2 i don't fill anywhere else as these are most trusted ones

The two that i know off which sell 97, Moolchand and Qutab Minar.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Thanks Monk for the info but it seems a bit difficult to go to these two as a regular filling joint as I stay in Noida and to go all the way and find out they are out of stock will be a bit pissing off. But certainly if they stock it all the time I can take trips to these places to fill up...

It involved oil change and inspection etc. I came to know then that there are no free services on any suoerbikes. I didn't like this one bit but what to do!!! It cost me a whipping 11k!!!! I wouldn t call it a sham. Its never a free service and companies surely reimburse service costs to ASS thats why you need to submit service coupens to ASS. In case of imports, if they included these 11k in invoice price of bike, the overall rise in price after taxes maybe 30 40k in ex showroom prices. Consumables are chargeable anyway.

Congratulations on your new ride, Sir! It's a beast I must say. Is the exhaust causing issues?

As I count days to get back on land I thought I'd just put some pics over here to keep the thread alive and kicking...

First morning ride..seems ready to pounce on the road ahead

Neighbours asked to have their photos clicked with her for FB

Daugther loves to do vroom vroom after school[emoji4]

Ride with ducatistis on Yamuna exoressway...I was and still am, the slowest of the lot

Another morning ride on NH24, the guy with beard was the Manager at Ducati but few days back joined BMW Motorrad...very nice guy indeed...since he is gone weekend rides have cime to a halt sadly

First interstate ride...Noida to Dehradun..midway break for yummy food...

En route Dehradun, a rather scenic but bad road stretch between Mzfrngr and Roorkie

A railway bridge on the same stretch of road...look how low it is...as a train was passing I stopped..what if someone used the toilet??? Ewwww...

MA Daat Kali Mandir....just at the entry point of Dehradun from Saharanpur side...very popular...all new vehicles are brought there for blessings and a red chunni tied to them..I did the same...

                          What lush greens...

I wonder what are his thoughts???

Dehradun....ohhh...all my childhood spent here..what memories!!!

Hills and valleys abound...on the way to Mussoorie

Not the best ride due to the tourist traffic...but I wasn't in any hurry

The venue fir my marriage...right on the foothills of Mussoorie

They thought I was a firangi...

I asked for someone to take a pic and the girl in the background started posing...

Dehradun in the monsoons...there is little you can compare to it

Maybe having a bhutta in Dehradun in the monsoons is even better...

Beautiful Tibetan monasteries and what not scattered in Doon

Just a random pic in one of the many beautiful places in Doon

                          The road is calling...

Hope you guys enjoy the pics...

What a disaster...my beloved fell in the parking lot just like that...the rear tyre deflated due to a puncture and bike lost it's balance...sad...
