I took delivery of my Int 650 RR last week and clocked 150km as of now. I am all smiling when I sit on it. Great job by RE. I love the looks and the performance. Two issues I noticed not sure if the 1st an issue.
    1. I feel the clutch and brake lever are little far to reach. Getting pain near the palm and fingers.
    2. As everyone highlighted the rear foot pegs, My wife is not at all comfortable for even a 30km ride as the legs starts to pain. Is there a possibility to fix an footrest a little front positioned?

I read somewhere in the previous comments that they got 20% discount on engine guard, visor and sump guard is this available on all showrooms? Because I didn't get any discount.
It was me who mentioned about the discount. Didn't you get the message regarding the discount from RE? I got the discount coupons in the message, 15% off when you shop for 10k and 20% off when you shop for 15k, for apparels it is 20% off when you shop for 5k. Now the accessory guy gives me 20% off on whatever i purchase [emoji41] Anyways talk to RE customer support regarding that

I have got the large re one and it's better in fit and finish and is solid as well. Zana ones looks over engineered in my honest opinion

I received my bike last week and while going through the owners manual observed that it just mentions the following rpm limitations:
    Upto 500kms: 4k rpm
    500-2000kms: 6k rpm.
No mention of any gear wise speed limit.

Anyone else who received the bike recently please confirm from your owners manual and let me know if you observe the same.
Just stick to 3k rpm for each gear till your first service and you'll be fine, keep on varying your speed, do not ride continuously at same speed, do not ride for a long a time at strech, take rests, and before starting keep the engine running for a minute to warm it up, i did the same for my GT and it's running perfectly. It's a big engine no need to worry too much. https://youtu.be/S0RZqijCY-E watch his videos, they are fantastic

Could you please check the run in procedure in your owners manual?

Discounts are available based on the total cost of accessories. Its 20% once u cross 15k worth of accessories i guess..

You are correct mate. Old manual talked about speed limits. New ones only talks about RPM limits only. But it is good to keep it under 100 kmph for atleast 1000 kms.

          1. Levers - you can adjust the levers as per your convenience. I adjusted mine and they are fine now.

          2. Pillion - I have installed Avenger pillion footrests "2 on left side" & "1 on right side". This helps pillion keep their feet straight. Does not interfere with rider footpegs. I recently made a 180 kms trip under scorching son with by BIL. I am 5.7" and he is 5.6". The only complaint he had was pain in the behind because of soft seat that too during the last 40 kms. He never felt leg pain.

You can check my review above, it has photographs.

And how do I check your review? Do I have to scroll back in the previous tabs or is there any other way? Sorry for the silly question newbie here...

After checking everything they've submitted the battery under claim for replacement, will take 4-5 days though since it's currently Ganpati season in Mumbai. Hopefully it should be fixed by this Saturday.

Has anyone tested and figured out the discharge / recharge rate of the 650 twins with the halogen headlight always on? It used to be one of the biggest issues on the classic 500 where the bike wouldn't recharge fast enough if the light was on. Contemplating installing the BS3 switch if that's the case.
Same happened with my Interceptor 650. The service centre guys tried everything and the came to the conclusion that Battery is faulty and need replacement. Bike is with them only from past 3 days, hope it's just the battery.

                      Hi,

I have an orange crush with about 2k on the odo. Your modifications seemed very good for pillion foot rest.
Can the avengers' foot rest be fitted without any changes or we need to do any changes to it like welding etc?

I have got backrest from Zana and looking for a Better footrest. Apart from that added a Chevik mobile phone holder with charger which I rarely use.

They are direct fit. Open screws and fit.

                          Hello,

Have been riding/enjoying the Interceptor for the past couple of weeks. Have done 420Kms and will give it for the first service tomorrow. Request your inputs/suggestions on the below please
                          1. Change to Touring seats - I ride about 60kms in Bangalore traffic in a day and its literally a huge pain in the butt. I try to stand up in traffic signals and stop once for a break and still struggle the last 2 or 3 kms. So was wondering if the touring seats which RE sells may help alleviate this. It costs 4k and not sure if its worth the money. If its only marginally better, I probably wont go for it. So, if anyone has been using it, kindly revert with your suggestion. I tired googling for reviews of the touring seats but oddly enough I could not find anything.
                          2. Aluminum Sump guard - Rs1800 and Flyscreen (Rs1700)- Is it worth it?
                          3. Anything else I should ask the service guy to check specifically?

Please let me know your thoughts

                            1) The Touring seats are not worth 4k. Suggest you get the stock seats customized, It'll cost around 2-2.5k.

                            2) Get the sump guard, The Flyscreen does not help avoid getting it.

You can even get the shocker gaiters, in case the shocker seal breaks it is a time consuming and expensive repair to get done, the shock gaiters would prevent dust and other particles from entering into the shocks. I have got them for my GT
