Happened 3 times with me that too without any moisture or shower, nothing came out of DOL tool (obd) diagnosis. And last time it was on for 3 days. Since then nothing. No issues in running or performance. Looks like it has a mind of its own. Service guys associate this with fuel pump error but again it was good.

How do you find the stock seat setup on long rides?

And those rider foot rests are a pain in slow moving traffic, how do you deal with it?

The foot pegs and the weight of the bike are the 2 main reasons I have not opted for the bike.
I have heard the touring seat (official accessory) helps a bit.

But I have B7ackthorn say that , always get an after market 1-2inch seat cushion, provided your height allows to your bikes.
Supposed to make it much easier.

It happens only ones after that your bottom get adjusted to it or the seat may be .For me it was 200 km in one day, i was scared to sit on the bike on the way back, thought to change seat immediately but i didn't. After one month i did 500 km but to my surprise i felt nothing.

Foot peg- you ll adjust to it, later it wont be a problem, i always fold my jeans, but that caused sticking foot peg on cloth so i had to change that when ever i sit on 650.

Weight- it will take some time to adjust, for me it was one month and 500 km, i was graduating from Yamaha Ray Z ,no other degree. Now i wont mind if it were heavier than now because the joy you feel on this bike is, no word to express.

[QUOTE=gauravtheknight;1382072]Took delivery today, ravishing red. Rode almost 80 kms in all types of traffic. A total hoot to ride, like they say, a ton of fun.

          2. Headlamp is clear lens. Nice visibility in night. Although upper beam is focused a little bit higher than my expectation.

the same here mate, i showed this to RE SC , they said if i want it can be corrected during second service so ill do it later.
goo luck with the bike and keep updating
          thanks

well its wise to consider sports demon (considering metzler, rating is good for demon), for your riding style a pair will last only for an year in that casee scorpion trail is a bit expensive. I ll have to see how long my Tyre last

Headlight can be adjusted by you only, it's super easy to do. You 'll see 2 bolts on right and left side of the headlight dome which holds it in place, just loosen them a bit, adjust the angle as per your need and tight it back up.
Do the process at night so that you can see the level of the headlight properly [QUOTE=intr650;1382279]It happens only ones after that your bottom get adjusted to it or the seat may be .For me it was 200 km in one day, i was scared to sit on the bike on the way back, thought to change seat immediately but i didn't. No, never faced any such thing, get it checked out properly could be bad fuel or water in the fuel. First do this spry some wd40 in the ignition slot and clean that area , wd40 or use any other cleaner use petrol if u don't have anything. One or two owners have reported this and it was resolved by cleaning the ignition slot.
Do this and see if it helps. Otherwise take it to service center.

                    I'll surely try this
Today something else happened, my rear break Lever got free, 8 don't if the ecu is misbehaving or what, but it happened 3-4 times today while riding and it's dangerous as I was at 90 one time

Were u constantly riding with foot on the brake paddle and it is slightly pressed, or were u constantly using rear brake in traffic before this, as this seems to be a case of brake fade it happens when it get ultra hot say beyond the boiling point of the brake oil. And when this happens lever gets limp.

If this is not the case then it could be some air in the brake line. Just get the brake bleed done to make sure there is no trapped air. And if this keeps repeating then get the major kit looked into and replaced if needed.
To avoid brake fade try not to keep the foot in the lever and if u have a habit of keep foot on it, then get the paddle placement adjusted to a lower angle to avoid your foot unintentionally applying some pressure on it all the time.

Hello guys , just made this small video on how to service the rear brake of the motorcycle. This would also help new owners in learning how to replace brake pads at home.

This has happened to me a couple of times on my RTR 180 (2015 model).
It is an issue with the ABS sensor (the computing part of it).

Take it to a service center and have them reset the system.

As you mentioned, this is ridiculously dangerous, I almost collided head long as I was using just my rear brake lever, quick reflexes in using the front brake saved my arse that day.

Well adjust the headlight dome according to the high beam. Loose the bolts a little bit, not too much so that it remains little firm, sit on the bike so that it accounts your weight then adjust the level of the headlight while sitting on the bike, then get up and tighten the bolts again, this will give you the perfect low beam as well.
Do this at night in front of a wall so that you can see the level of the high beam [QUOTE=intr650;1382319]

Well you can take reference to my headlight beam video and compare the throw and beam angle at both high and low beam. If there is no scope for adjustments and if it still feels wrong then could be something wrong with the bulb or the inner reflector for the dome.
