Tyre provides very good grip and mileage

but it also attract unwanted objects

metal piece and stone are frequently stuck on the tyre and some of them penetrate too

screw, nail and stones are common

i didn't check my first puncture bud had a small hole on the Tyre so something went through the tyre

second one is a 1.5 inch screw went all the way to the tube

third may be a 1 inch nail, i removed it and there is hole on the Tyre, cant say about the tube

My guess is the Tyre is kind of sticky rubber, that cause hard object getting stuck to the Tyre.

unless RE comes with an alloy, need to consider some other Tyre in future.

Wonder why MRF didn't come up with anything

Mrf doesn't have anything in H rating, their only high speed tyre which is revz steel sx is only in 17 inch and also is a hard find.
I am hoping a good tyre from Apollo as i have had very good experience with Alpha h1 the major issue is 18 inch tyres are not common these days so not every manufacturer is into making it.
Benelli Imperiale has same size rear tyre from TVS but don't have any information on speed rating. We need at least H rated tyres. Ralcos are pathetic and Timsun too heavy. There is one Metzelers lasetec in same sizes.

I had reported the same problem in my earlier posts. The tyres are really problematic. I am yet to give my bike to SVC for inspection of the tyres, will report to everyone what came out.

Hello guys here i have made a simple and small video on how to adjust the angle of your motorcycle gear shift lever to give you the perfect and comfortable position for smooth and precise gear shifts.
Process is same for most kind of Motorcycles with similar setup.

                    Hi ,

Tyre upsize or downsize should be less than 2%(even for cars) to avoid any issues in stock parameters.

If you're completely modifying the frame/chassis and swingarm for a custom setup, then its a completely different topic.

Our stock tyre size is more than adequate for really aggressive cornering and nice low end acceleration. It's only above speeds of 180kmph you might miss the extra stability of a wider rubber, but most of us don't go there often.

This is how the 150/70 R17 looks like. One of our TN riders had done it on his INT. Needed a new rim for the same.

                    Cheers

This actually looks good and feels proportionate! Do you know where did he procure the 17inch wheels from?

There is very marginal space left on either side of the swingarm after putting the 150 section , how do you deal with the chassis and swingarm flex in high speed directional changes. Also it would be hell lot harder to take the wheel off with so less space on either side.
The spacers in the axel are given for a purpose of providing clearance on each side and we are looking to eat that space by a fatter size tyre.
Plus this size would definitely mess up a lot of things it will surely rob the motorcycle if its agility and nimble ness and put lot of unwanted stress on the chain set and transmission. Speed sensor calibration would be messed up too.
India is a country obsessed with fat tyre and putting a tyre meant for minimum 4 inch rim on a less wider rim would not give the tyre its required profile on shoulders , it will eventually be end up looking flat.

The stock 130 section tyre is sufficient enough to lean the motorcycle to its maximum available lean angle and you can even scrape the metal parts on the same tyre if you have the **** to do the same.

The ideal upsize for the stock rim would be 140 section. Any seller would gladly sell you the absurdly wide tyre and they would also fit the same to your motorcycle by hook or by crook.
It is not the width that we need here and important thing is the compund and speed rating.

These are my personal two cent on the tyre size, i would personally wait for a company to make better rated tyre rather than put something which robs the motorcycle of its dynamics.
