Keep naaging them on regular basis you might get lucky, there are few showrooms selling few colors on early deliveries.

And if you are watching Stuart Filingm then remember he lives abroad and dust free environment (pointing towards airfilter).Originally posted by arunsekhar1 View Post

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. Nope, the rumbling noise is still there if you listen closely at idle. It's definitely better than what it was originally thought.Originally posted by Katt-cadence View PostHeya, did you find a fix this ? It’s driving me nuts.
Thanks

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
Yes but not much of a use it only looks good, not much difference in comfort department. Go for something like fego float or ride on air or customize the seat as per your comfort.Originally posted by eaglesaaho View PostCan we fit GT seat on INT 650
Fego float and ride on air are tried and tested product , with these you can retain the original seat look and have comfort too .
Both are available in market and on Amazon too.

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
My stock rear tyre has gone bald at close to 9000kms now. For some it has lasted close to 12,0000-13,000kms, if you go gentle in the initial acceleration. These Phantom Sportscomp tyres are good tyres and after they heat up grips the dry roads nicely. Wet traction on rain roads is also good below 100kph. But generally they are known for wearing out soon even on the Bonnevilles when you do lots of 1st, 2nd gear accelerations, and high speed runs.Originally posted by shyam.mora View PostHas anyone changed the stock tires ? What is the average life of the stock tires ? And are there any alternative options available from other brands apart from Pirelli ?
The stock rear spec 130/70 R18 63H is for now available in stock Pirelllis ₹8000. Metzeler Lasertec around ₹5750-₹6500. And Pirelli Sport Demons at ₹5000-₹6000.
Two from TN group and few from International fb group have switched to Metzeler Lasertec and are like the tyres for the grip and stability. I'm also planning to get the same.
Cheers

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
Thank you for information. From what I have heard, Metzelers have better grip and life than Pirelli. We have Timsun tyres aswell but couldn't find a review for them. Anyways I hope some company launches a bit cheaper priced tyres soon.Originally posted by jazzysaravana View PostMy stock rear tyre has gone bald at close to 9000kms now. Yes, Timsun tyres are fairly decent too, but I'm not sure we have a right spec match with correct speed rating for our 650 twinsOriginally posted by shyam.mora View PostThank you for information. Timsun speed rating is P which is 150kmph if I am not wrong. Just got the reply from Timsun yesterday night.Originally posted by jazzysaravana View PostYes, Timsun tyres are fairly decent too, but I'm not sure we have a right spec match with correct speed rating for our 650 twins
Current or oem tyre is H rated which is 210kmph.

Cheaper tyres for a performance oriented motorcycle? Then you would complaint about the grip levels and the stabilityOriginally posted by shyam.mora View PostThank you for information. Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
Cheaper in the sense a bit lower priced. IMO think if MRF or Ceat starts manufacturing these tyre sizes, price would be comparably lesser than Pirelli or Metezees.Originally posted by yashasvi View PostCheaper tyres for a performance oriented motorcycle? Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
18 inch size is the issue. Not many products having this size so making it and selling it doesn't make sense for most companies. When I last spoke with Apollo tyres regional head he did say that they working on full range of tyres to cover royal Enfield brand. They have already laughed tyres for Himalayan and others lets see when our sizes comes.Originally posted by Abhishekilke View PostI expected Michelin or the Indian tyre brands to develop a tyre for the 650 Twins but they've disappointed us.[emoji19]

Re: Interceptor 650 Twin
Mrf still only has S rating , their steel sx which is the only high speed rated is almost non existence. And ceat's H rated has mixed reviews. Most Indias companies are happy making 17 inch P rated tyres.Originally posted by shyam.mora View PostCheaper in the sense a bit lower priced.
