Yes, the baby D125 has got good acceleration upto 80kpmh in 1st-4th gear compared to any other similar powered bike like FZ-S, Apache 160, Pulsar
But only that it looses breath after that, which should be fine as it's meant to be a city bike and not a highway machine, but it should shine in city while riding below max ORR city speed limit of 80kmph.

5th and 6th gears are dud in city use and bike doesnt like running at low rpm in any gear, problem is due to very low toque numbers the bike tends to almost stall even in 3rd gear at speeds 30kmph or anything less than 3K-3.5K rpm in any gear after 3rd. 2nd gear is what one needs to always in and will get most used in this bike.

So yes, if one can keep the engine at high-mid rpms and in low gears, it'll be hoot to ride.

Regarding heat, did the radiator fan kick in when the temperature reached almost full. Please share with us more about the bikes performance(Pickup, speed, Smoothness, stability, Comparison with Duke 200, etc.)

The other day, while I was in a Red signal, a Duke 125 arrived. Once the signal turned green, it just flew away. It has got a good acceleration. It's acceleration is as good as a 200NS and I was amazed with it's performance. Between, I was in my 200NS.
During the maiden ride, the radiator fan kicked in only 3 times of the 60 minute ride.
But the temperature never reached full bars. It was my mistake to compare it with my R3'heat bar values.
Regarding pickup, it wakes up only after 4k rpm. Under 4k it starts to behave as if it's run out of fuel. It will start to jerk.

Also, i noticed that i can't get back to neutral easily. In most cases it shows that it's hit neutral, but as i slowly release the clutch, the bike moves into 2nd gear. The shift seems hard for now.
Also the chain seems to be less lubed. I need to lube it soon.

Yes, in Dukes we can't expect the butter smooth gears and clutch !!

Lol you're absolutely right under 4K it goes as you mentioned !
I did rode my friend's D200 and can maintain the 4 K RPM'S ,the engine is craving eagerly to go beyond 6K RPM!! That's the Duke's nature .

Added a Viaterra Fly tank bag to the bike.
Since I'm using it for daily commute, its good to have this bag on the bike. It can easily carry my laptop, lunchbox and a water bottle along with my gloves, rain cover, and other things like my mobile phone.

Tank bag goes well with the motorcycle. By the way, after reaching the office premise, do you remove the bag from tank and carry all the way into the office or just leaving it on the tank all day long?

                  I take it out.
It takes about 3 minutes to mount it and 1 minute to remove it.
The straps are tied to the bike. I'll make a video about it.
Still didn't compile the delivery video.
It's position make it safe to carry Electronics during heavy rain. But you need to make sure that you put the rain cover before it starts raining.

My Engine Light gives 2 long blinks and 3 short blinks when idling

Upon turning ON and using the bike, it stays ON all the time

It's a new bike, not even done 1st service

Had got the bike washed an hour before the issue started

Service Center states there is water in the relay sensor but it has been 3 days and it still has the same issue

Showroom guy says that all will be sorted upon 1st service

I don't know what is the issue, can't find any user manuals with the details of all these error codes

What shall I do, shall I continue riding the bike or take it to service center for fixing ?

There is no issue in running the bike, it is running flawlessly

You have a flash code stored in your ECM memory. Now, the issue might have popped up and rectified itself. But, since it recorded an error, the error might be popping up on your screen. These errors can be removed by using the Diagnostic Tool from your SVC, and 5 min job. To your problem of the error code, the light flashing, two long and three short indicates we have a...

2x LONG and 3x SHORT INDICATES
TRAVEL SPEED SENSOR - MEASUREMENT RANGE OR POWER PROBLEM.

Check your wheel speed sensor, and check if your display is showing right speed values. I'd suggest you get the error code removed from SVC, and it should solve your problem.

                      Cheers!

                      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                        First Free Service Update.

                        Total Cost 1045

                        They changed the
                        Engine Oil
                        Oil Filter

Topped up the Coolant at least in the reservoir.
Tightened up the chain: It was loose and was hitting the swingarm.

Bought chain lube from them. 150ml. Will take photo and share later in the day.

                        Noticable changes:
The bike seems to have got more power all of a sudden.
From 2.5k to 4k RPM the bike used to behave like it had no fuel now it does not have this problem.
Vibrations were never there to begin with and the state remain unchanged.

                        Images of the Invoice etc.

Here is a video of the Ownership Transfer. This will help you guys save money when you are transferring your Bike after you have sold it or buying a used bike.

On the other hand I got the bike serviced and then sold it. Got ripped off at the KTM dealer
                                Below is the service cost.
I was not given the OKS chain lube but was charged for it. Bike was not polished and was charged for that as well.
