  • [Ownership Thread]: Hero Karizma ZMR 2014 in 2019

    Hi!

I bought Hero Karizma ZMR 2014 in 2019 as my daily commute for office which is now 10 kilometers from my home.

As Bajaj Pulser 220F 2012 was my last bike I do not wanted to go below 220 cc displacement and sk I started my search in strict budget.

    Major Driving History:

Hero Honda CD 100 (Learn and driven when no one at home)
    Yamaha Enticer 2003 (First Bike)
Bajaj Pulser 150 2007 (Second Bike)
TVS Apache RTR 180 2011(Third Bike)
    Bajaj Pulser 220 F 2012 (Fourth Bike)
Honda Active 2012 (GF - Ride)
Hero Mastro Edge (GF - Ride)
Hero Karizma ZMR V2 2014 (Current and Fifth)

The ZMR which I bought used has come with 21000 kms on odo, though the bike I got at cheap price, I shell almost 12000 on ownership transfer, insurance, and maintenance.

All the work is done at Hero Authorized Service Center after the purchase and still not up to the mark.

    About the ZMR

Mileage- 35 km pl in Mumbai city Trafic (Using Speed Petrol only)

Handling- Quite nicely I can maneuver and corners are awesome

Seats - Ridong seat is okay though old but the pasanger seat is not comfortable, people refuse to sit after one ride.

I will keep posting more as I have ordered some parts and constantly looking to upgrade the performance, looks and reliability of the bike to the mark.

Hey congrats man. Even i was planning for the same. The seat issue, is where i feel older karizma are better.
The ODO is very less run, a very nice pick indeed.
Am gonna keep a close eye on this thread.
Good luck with the new ZMR.
