Today I am going to share a few things about my bike. Since the day I bought this little beast, I fell in love with it. And why not, you get the sharp look on it which can make anyone go amaze. Especially the wolf-headed front head section.
Anyways, let's talk about:
1) The Performance of the bike:
In the 160 CC category, the NS 160 is seemed to be a but powerful. The throttle response is smooth and I really loved how it just wants to go further without any hindrance. I feel it speaks to me like "Come on i can push myself to the limit, just grab on and blip the throttle." [emoji16] The engine response is good. The gearbox is smooth. The exhaust grunt is sweet. With the right use of engine oil and additives the bike didn't even bring about any complains. I really loved the ground clearance of the bike. Can easily hurdle the speed breakers with ease. Also, if you want to install any touring kits on it, you don't have to worry about anything. That's an absolute necessity for the Tourers which it serves.
2) The Mileage:
Well, we all Indians, before buying a bike be like, "mileage कितनी देती है?". [emoji38] Even i was like that once. But later on it all faded away. Well, my bike gives a decent mileage of around 45-55kmpl On City and On Highways. People be like astonished by the mileage of my beast. I guess it depends upon how you maintain and ride your bike. If I ride it in about 80KMPH speed and above then i get around 45KMPL mileage On Highways.
3) The Riding Comfort:
The default seats were good. But i have had installed some cushion into it. Now i can just ride for about 400+KMs on it without any problem. The seating posture on it is not very aggressive as you all know. I am more into touring side rather than racing, so I position my hips towards the front edge of the rider seat where a lot of room remains at the back. I went for about 2700KM ride on it to Sikkim back in January, 2020 and the ride was just smooth. The only thing that I faced is that it hurt a bit behind the neck at the mid section of the shoulder.
4) The Cons:
Having a drum brake at the rear and not disc, since it's a BS4 model and also the absence of ABS lowers down the confidence of braking the bike. If you ride it at higher RPM and want it to stop then it may take time for about 6-7 seconds if you are riding at the speed of 60KMPH.
Personally i feel like it should have the gear position indicator.
Sometimes it so happens that, while on a ride , when i shift gears, it gives a false gear shift. At times it turns into Neutral and other times the chain wobbles and creates a lot of noise. Feels like i have had hit any off-road tracks.
It misses on power if you want to drive it on an ascending slope. Sometimes i feel like it may drop power or even the engine might stop.
Well, these are a few ownership experience of my beast.
I drove around 27,000 + KMS on it in 2 years 5 months and I believe it can cross more even being a lower segment motorcycle. [emoji4]
And lastly, i am lucky to have it because it made me make new friends and family. And here I am today, writing a review on it.
That's All. Thank You
I, The Biker. We, The Power [emoji1307]
