It was such a tight fight. The most furious racing class this year was the 4-stroke Group D 165cc. With factory teams backing riders, its a big big task to match them and even beat them. This is an incredible thing.
I've seen this guy going thru fire and hell to get here. It was his strong perseverance that took this effort so far. Its no joke to get there on the track and beat the best people in business.
Hats off to you mate. You have done a brilliant job. I know what it takes to be there. You might not have won the championship, but your still a winner. What the hell can 1 point make. Points are just numbers, but talent is something else.

Could you give some more insights into the race ECU's you mentioned.Weren't they on the R15 ?

I havent ridden one with the Race ECU, just seen them perform. Very strong on acceleration as well as topend.

I was confident that this year you will take the championship after that closing in that 15 points difference.. But i know competing with factory bikes is hard and beating them is superb..
Kept calling Joel(Bugging him

) and updating on the last round results..
But as Joel said 1 point doesn't matter.. your the best and inspiration to many of us..

Were the factory RTR's carbed one's or FI?

Group D 4stroke upto 165 cc has CBZ's, RTR's and R15's mostly, see the results sheet on page1, it has the bike models also listed. The RTR Fi is not yet homologated for racing
