    The final round of the one make races held by Honda, Yamaha and TVS is being held over the weekend at the MMRT track, Chennai.

      Results for the 5th and final round of the National Motorcycling Championship

      In the Group D unmodified Class upto 130cc Kamlesh Thakur clinched the title in the last round. The final standings at the end of the season is - Kamlesh Thakur - 94, Abdul Wahab - 54 and K Y Ahmad - 50.

      In Group C upto 165cc Sarath Kumar took both the race wins.The Championship went to Shyam Shankar by just one point. The final standings for this group was - Shyam Shankar - 63, Sumit Lucas - 62, N Abishek - 38.

      In the Group B fully modified bikes upto 165cc the races were won by K Jagan and Harry Sylvester. The final championship standings are - K Jagan - 88, Harry Sylvester - 64, Shyam Shankar - 47

      In the CBR 250 class Sarath Kumar dominated the weekend, but could not save the championship which was won by M Gautam. The standings at the end of the championship are - Gautam - 76, Prabhu - 69, Sarath Kumar - 54

      The CBR 150cc Class was won by Sumit Lucas Toppo. The championship standings are Sumit Lucas - 38, Arvind Ganesh - 30, N Abishek - 26

      Yamaha R 15 open category was taken by Shyam Shankar at 78 points. Dinesh Kumar - 54, M Sudhakar - 52 brought up second and third.

      The Apache RTR 180 open category had these results at the end of the championship. Ananth Raj - 66, Rajesh Rathinakumar - 55, S K Prakash - 53
