Re: MotoGP 2019 season discussion thread

Hope we have a very interesting season with Lorenzo partnering Marc .Suzuki seems to be coming up the ladder with Yamaha lacking speed and consistency. Couple of rookies like Bagnaia and Mir should make it interesting. Pedrosa has joined KTM for testing purposes ,hope that gives them some consistency.Moto 2 debuts Triumph engines - should be interesting as well.

What an unexpected twist to the race .With Marquez taking the holeshot and clearing from the pack i expected a repeat of the last race but a rare Marquez mistake made the race and the championship interesting .Rins ran a good race to win it from Rossi who missed a great chance to add to his tally. With Lorenzo having problems and Cal crashing out ,it was a bad day for Honda.Dovi starting from 13th finished 4th to lead the championship .

What a qualifying session - for a rookie to take pole in Jerez is a fantastic achievement from Quartararo specially on a satellite Yamaha while the factory riders are nowhere to be seen. Morbidelli his teamate in 2nd also had great pace though it is doubtful they will repeat the same in race distance against the veterans.

Another perfect race from Marc ,if the Ducati's don't up the act the championship is going only one way.The Yamaha don't look like they can run the pace .Some improvement from the KTM finally.

Things that pol espagro do on that KTM motorcycle is amazing. I heard that you have to manhandle that bike in every corner entry.

What a qualifying session from Marc to get it right, on the limit at the chequered flag - hope the race turns out to be interesting .All credit to Quartararo for the fantastic qualifying where the satellite Yamaha seems to be better than the factory bikes with Rossi starting from 18th at his home GP.

What a qualifying run from Quartararo ,hope he has some race pace too and another front row for Vinales while the qualifying blues continue for Rossi. Another fantastic save from Marc on his last run to start from the second row .Should be a very interesting race .
