Re: MotoGP 2019 season discussion thread

Another pole for Marquez and a brilliant 2nd from Quarteraro -this kid has pace and consistency that should take him to the factory team soon while Rossi seems to be going the opposite way .Dovi's qualifying in 13th makes his chances of a decent fight tougher.

Perfect race from pole to finish by Marquez for his 10th win at Sachsenring. Quartararo crashing out after a bad start was disappointing but worse was to see Rins crashing out 2nd race in succession and potentially losing 45 points in 2 races . Alex Marquez is having his best run of races in Moto 2 to lead the standings.

Czeck GP - Another brilliant qualifying from Marc ,lying in 10th with 4 mins to go on a drying wet track ,to go out on slicks and take pole shows the difference in competitive spirit and risk taking when it was not required for the championship .Miller in 2nd and Zarco in 3rd to give KTM their first front row start in Moto gp.Hope it rains a bit tomorrow or the winner is Marc for sure.

After some delay at the start due to rain and wet patches with the BMW M5"s going round the track ,normal service resumed with a pole to finish domination from Marc .Dovi finished 2nd after a good start to stay behind Marc for almost the entire race but his choice of medium rear preventing him from pushing at the end i think.Miller finished 3rd ahead of Rins in 4th. Rossi the best Yamaha in 6th behind Cal. Horrible starts from Zarco and Vinales meant no podium chances for both. Moto 2 had a fairly similar scene with Alex dominating like Marc with 2 rookies Giannantonio and Bastianini completing the podium. With Luthi his closest championship challenger crashing out and Alex winning 5 out of the last 7 races the championship result looks omnious .

It's official - Alex Marquez get's Lorenzo's seat at the Honda team to ride alongside his brother.Though Alex had signed to continue in Moto 2 for next year Lorenzo's sudden decision opened up a chance for him ,though Marc denies it i'm sure Honda is indebted to him .Now it is upto Alex to prove his worth to the team .
