MRF NATIONAL SUPERCROSS 2009
The much talked about private motocross THE PASHANKAR RACING TEAM from pune has proved its worth by not just dominating but also making a clean sweep at the 2nd round of the mrf national supercross championships in hyderabd on the 31st of may .the unchallenged and undefeated team of tvs racing were shocked when pashankar racing team riders veer patel and Eeshan Lokhande finished 1st and third respectively ....(Eeshan says)..its a great deal for us as the team which has been working very hard ,.....and to defeat a factory team means a lot to us as we are a private team compared to one of the largest manufactrers in india ,who have been racing and winning national championships for the the past decade.
Veer Patel got the best rider of the day and hoped into the championship points lead after having a smooth and dominating race ..Eeshan came back from the back overtaking riders of better caliber to clinch 3rd place ,
veer choosing to ride for the pashankar racing team last year....after when he was offered a ride with the tvs team in 2008 has come of age and has shown us the results we expect from him.....he is a rider to look forward to as the youngest rider in the country he is way better than the other pro riders..
Eeshan did get a good start in the first race and finished 3rd ,second race saw him get a very poor start and had to work his way up form the back of the pack, he rode consistantly through out the race overtaking 8riders which looked like a task concidering the soft and sandy track.
Pinkesh Thakkar put up an amzing display of passion and will ,,having broken his wrist in practice prior to the race he still managed to ride ..that was not all he secured important points for the team and himself by finishing top five ,,hatts off to this guy.
As for the team it was the greatest day so far ,,the team riders finishing in the top five places in every cateory of the event 6 CATEGORIES

KAPIL PASHANKAR for his support and beleive in the riders .......he has been our back bone and it is the result of support and faith laid by him in the riders ...
the full team has worked hard for this the mechanics co ordinators and assitance from ELRE eeshan lokhande racing and entertainment .has been over whelming we had ALDRIN SAMUELS coming all the way from dubai to work on the bikes and give technical help to the riders..... we appriciate his efforts and value his work .
the growth of the team is already been seen ,, SOLARIS gym has come on board as the fitness partner for the team we thank JAYANT PAWAR for his support.,,having the best fitness partner we are looking forward to developing the riders with their endurance and strenghth.
the next round will be held in coimbatore on the 14th of june 2009

but i was cheering him up... after that he retired from the event...
